My name is Ahyana Riley and if you’re iffy on the enunciation it’s Ay-Yawn-Uh. I was born in Hinesville, Georgia to an ever-moving military family. Until recently, I hadn’t lived anywhere for more than 3 years and therefore really appreciate connecting with others.
I graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a major in Communication Design. While I do consider myself to be a multidisciplinary designer, my focus is on identity and user experience. At the center of the things I enjoy is a fascination with improving the human experience through story, and connecting with people on a deeper level. I get the opportunity to see this in the world of design.
At Tribu, I work as a web designer. I handle the backend of partner’s websites, coding, and sometimes the design of the site. Essentially, my job is to tie all aspects of the site together, helping it flow better and translate client’s goals.
In my free time you might occasionally find me hiking, but most likely I’ll be playing Sims 4 until around 2 am (yes, I’m a nerd). As a big foodie, it is also likely that I’ll be crossing off one of San Antonio’s famous restaurants off my foodie list.
Something you might not know about me is that I used to practice muaythai, hopefully I will be getting back to it soon!
