Originally from Guam, I moved to San Antonio in 2012 and have since called it home. Ever since I was in middle school, I knew I wanted to go into design. Looking up to my aunt (who’s a graphic designer herself), I was in awe of the field and felt inspired to pursue it. This is why I’m currently attending the University of the Incarnate Word and pursuing my major in, you guessed it, Graphic Design!
At Tribu, I work as a Junior Graphic Designer. Through my job, I assist lead designers in their projects but also get my very own ventures and clients from time to time. I’m a big fan of seeing my and our client’s ideas come to life, but especially enjoy the feedback system we have in the design tribe. Through collaborative problem solving we’re able to generate better results that I’m very proud of.
When I’m not at work, you can probably find my catching up on design work or homework. In all honesty, though, my weekends consist of walking my dogs, relaxing and watching Netflix; when I’m not browsing around for new restaurants with my fiancé (Yes, I’m getting married next year!).
Currently, I am also the president of my university’s chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). I love working with other motivated aspiring designers who have similar goals as mine!
