The Mystery of Light – Twilight on The Plaza

If the day is for work and the night for sleep, then twilight is when memories are made. The time of two lights, the fading sunset and the emerging light of the moon and stars is what makes it the one part of the day that stands alone. Add San Antonio’s penchant for the festive, a little history, wine, music, and a three-course meal and what you have is a recipe for an autumnal tradition.

The Center City Development Office (CCDO) is producing an unforgettable event for the city of San Antonio coined “Twilight on The Plaza”. On Friday, November 16th from 7-11pm, Plaza de Valero (adjacent to Alamo Plaza) will be transformed into a charming and thrilling showcase of local taste and historical charm with an exclusive dinner for 100 people. Under the amber glow of thousands of lights, the intoxicating aroma of Oaxacan hot chocolate and Argentinian empanadas – it seems that Twilight on The Plaza will be the perfect way to usher in the cooler, winter weather.

This exclusive opportunity to savor a three course dinner by Tim the Girl alongside wine pairings from Pioneer Wine’s advanced Sommelier is an event that is sure to fill up soon. This dining experience on Plaza de Valero is limited to 100 people. A portion of the proceeds go to benefit the Mayor’s Fitness Council and Food Policy Council.

Free to the public will be live music by D.T. Bufkin and the Bad Breath, Lantern tours of the Plaza and a “Twilight Market” featuring vendors Sloan Hall, The Richter Co., Elaine Turner, Fresh Urban Flowers, Cruz Ortiz Art, Scott Martin Photography, Bakery Lorraine, Delizia Empanadas, Café Punta del Cielo, and the SA River Mission Aguas Frescas.

Dinner ticket for 1 = $80. Dinner tickets for 2 = $150. Purchase your tickets today at:  www. TimTheGirl.com.
